UNSUNG HERO: Christine Davis

The Washington Tuskegee Alumni Club, Inc. proudly honors Christine Davis, Tuskegee University Class of 2008, Business Administration major, as an Unsung Hero whose leadership, vision, and determination restored one of our most cherished WTAC traditions.

WTAC has hosted our Annual Luther H. Foster Scholarship Breakfast since 1983, a celebration that has uplifted students and united alumni for generations. But after the pandemic, the tradition came to an abrupt halt. Our last Scholarship Breakfast was held in 2019, leaving a five-year gap that deeply impacted our momentum and our students.

Bringing this event back was not simply a matter of planning—it required courage, creativity, and unwavering commitment. And that is exactly what Christine brought to the table.

A Leader Who Reignited a Tradition

As Chair of the 2025 Scholarship Breakfast Committee, Christine Davis took on a monumental challenge: reviving an event that had been dormant for half a decade.

Her leadership was nothing short of transformative.

A Sold-Out Return. A Resounding Success.

Under Christine’s leadership, WTAC hosted a sold-out Scholarship Breakfast, marking an extraordinary return to one of our most beloved traditions. Alumni of all ages shared positive reviews about the atmosphere, the organization, the program, and the sense of pride that filled the room.

Christine didn’t simply revive an event. She restored a legacy. A tradition rooted in excellence, community, and unwavering support for our students.

Our Gratitude

We cannot thank Christine and her dedicated committee enough. Their collective efforts helped WTAC return to its long-standing tradition of uplifting students through scholarships and honoring the spirit of service that defines Tuskegee University.

Christine—your professionalism, your heart, and your ability to turn vision into reality have set a new standard for WTAC events.

We proudly salute you, Christine Davis — our “Scholarship Breakfast Revivalist!”
